Thankyou, to all those involved in the St David's Day celebrations at Caldicot Castle, for a lovely afternnon,

I attended the school from about 1969 to 1972 (ish). Mr Watkins was Headmaster. My teachers included Mrs Titmarsh, Mrs Thomas, and Mrs Price. I lived at 57 Green Lane right opposite the school. I now live in Kent with my wife and two children. Great to see the school continues to thrive. I have fond memories of my time in Caldicot.

Greenlane School has the best Drama Club.

Thankyou to everyone who supported our Welsh Folk Dancers on Saturday. It was a great afternoon, even if the weather did mean we were indoors! Not forgetting, a big well done and thankyou to the dancers themselves! All that hard work paid off!!

I'm looking forward to going to green lane junior school Caldicot in September. Ffion has been telling me the fun stuff u do.

I agree that the PFTA Fun Event was a success. I enjoyed helping out on the coconut shy and I must thank Adam Weed for his help and also Harry Maund who worked very hard picking up balls and bean bags!
Jess and Sam both had a great time and enjoyed the penalty shootout in the football event.

Well Done to Year 5/6 children involved in the musical showcase at Caldicot Leisure Centre. The children did Green Lane School proud. They stood out with their brightly coloured t-shirts and smart black trousers. Well done Mrs Luckwell!

Class 5/6 RL will be visiting Magor Marsh on the 11th April. Letters will sent out when we return. If any parents are interested in a bit of pond dipping or bird watching, just let me know. Your help would be greatly appreciated! :-)

What a great maths week at Green Lane! Well done to all of the children, particularly those who won prizes for their efforts! Maths day seemed a super success. We feel very disappointed that we are not getting our fun day at the leisure centre after all our efforts doing our SAT's.

How come the teachers are so fab? Mrs Luckwell is really nice at folk dancing because I'm her partner and she's nice to us and that is great. Mr Farrands is really funnny and makes loads of people laugh (hehehe). Mrs Barker, she's great. Mrs lawerence is pretty and she is a playscheme leader too. Mrs Cambell she is also nice. Mrs King is really nice but we hardily see her any more, but there we go.

Hiya Greenlane Miss James is a wicked teacher she is so kind. Greenlane is so cool !! hope to see ur children coming here.

Sincere apologies for the Website not being updated for such a long time, and special apologies to those who have included commentrs in the guestbook and been disappointed that they have not appeared!

The reason is that the Web master was abducted by aliens from the planet Zog and has only recently been returned to earth. No, that is not true, but he was distracted by the recent school inspection and was out of town for the Spring term. Hopefully there will now be more time and he hopes you will all be doing lots of interesting things that he can use to build up the website.
